Dr Lisa Ballard is a chartered health psychologist and a research fellow in the Clinical Ethics, Law and Society research group. 

Her current research interests include: familial communication of genetic health information; use of routinely collected health data for use in learning healthcare systems; diversity of genomic / genetic and health data; methods to include the views and experiences of underserved groups in health and social care research; and using health and social care data to inform resident-lead community interventions.
